Poland international Adam Buksa has arrived in the Balearic Islands to complete a medical examination before his transfer from Udinese to Mallorca. The transfer is happening because Kosta Runjaić did not include the 30-year-old in his plans for the new season. Mallorca, who were recently relegated from LaLiga, identified Buksa as a successor for Vedat Muriqi. Upon landing, Buksa told journalists he wants to achieve ambitious goals in Spain, specifying his objectives as scoring goals and getting victories. The striker explained his decision to play in the second division by stating that he considers Mallorca a great club, too big for that league, and that he wants to help the team secure a quick promotion. The official announcement of the transfer is expected within hours. Buksa, who has 25 caps and 7 goals for Poland, joined Udinese in August 2025 for a reported fee of €5 million, with his contract set to expire in June 2029. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €3.50m.
