Achraf Dari Transfer from Al Ahly to Raja Casablanca

According to reliable sources from Africafoot, Al Ahly's management is preparing to make an official offer to Raja Casablanca during the next winter transfer window, proposing a swap between 26-year-old Moroccan defender Achraf Dari and Youssef Belammari. The Cairo club is considering releasing Dari in exchange for Youssef Belammari. This transaction could encounter obstacles, specifically related to Dari's history, as he is from the academy of Wydad Casablanca, Raja's historical rival. According to sources close to the player, Dari remains attached to his identity as a former Wydad player, which could complicate a potential signing with Raja. The defender has 7 caps and 1 goal for Morocco. He joined Al Ahly in August 2024 and has a contract with the club until June 2028. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.50m. Al Ahly's management wants to reduce their squad size and offer Dari an opportunity to play elsewhere due to his limited playing time and frequent injuries; he has made only 3 league appearances this season. Africafoot revealed that Al Ahly's management has considered several solutions for Dari, including exchanging him for Youssef Belammari from Raja, as well as loaning the Moroccan defender to a Moroccan club or a club in the Gulf region. Dari has refused a move to the Libyan championship. The situation could evolve after the Egyptian Super Cup, scheduled from November 6 to 9 in Abu Dhabi. During the event, Al Ahly's management is expected to meet with Dari to discuss his future, his potential departure, and the possibility of an exchange with Youssef Belammari.
