Moroccan international defender Achraf Dari, 26, is a free agent after Al Ahly unilaterally terminated his contract to create a squad space for a new signing. Following this, several European clubs have reportedly expressed a desire to reinforce their defense with the player, including Lausanne and Young Boys of Berne in Switzerland, as well as Saint-Étienne in the French Ligue 2. Dari, whose market value is estimated at around 1.2 million euros, faced difficulties at Al Ahly, which he joined in August 2024, due to injuries that limited his appearances to three in the domestic league. The centre-back has earned 7 caps and scored 1 goal for Morocco. Al Ahly reportedly paid a €1.8 million fee for Dari in August 2024, following his earlier €2.7 million transfer to Brest in July 2022.
