Al Ahly has received offers for the 31-year-old Moroccan winger, Achraf Bencharki, from other Gulf clubs, including Al Taawoun and Al Ettifaq, that are financially superior to a recent bid from Al Gharafa. The Qatari club has made the Moroccan a priority and held preliminary discussions with his brother and agent before submitting an offer of around 1.2 million dollars. Al Ahly's reaction to the proposal was not favorable, and the club maintains a valuation of at least 1.8 million dollars, a figure the club believes reflects the player's status.
