Several Premier League clubs, including Fulham, Sunderland, and Everton, have been linked with Leicester City's Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu. Some of these clubs are renewing interest they had in him last summer. Leicester will sell the winger this summer to assist the club in managing a significant decrease in revenue. There are also suggestions of interest from overseas, with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig having placed Fatawu on a list of potential wide targets. It is said that they are monitoring the 22-year-old in the event they lose one of their current wingers; however, no contact has been made yet. It is considered unlikely that there will be progress on any deal until later in the summer because Fatawu is expected to be at the World Cup. The Ghana international has 27 caps for his country. He joined Leicester in July 2024 and has a contract until 2029. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €24.00m. His transfer from Sporting CP in July 2024 was for a reported sum of €17 million. In April 2026, it was suggested that Leicester would accept a figure around €24 million for him. A release clause was also mentioned at approximately €35 million.
