Manchester City have officially announced that Abdukodir Khusanov has extended his contract at the club until 2031. Khusanov expressed his happiness about extending his stay at City. The player joined Manchester City from RC Lens in winter 2025 and has played 47 official matches for the club since then. The transfer fee was reported as 50 million euros.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Sam Lee, Abdukodir Khusanov will sign a new five-year contract with Manchester City.

Abdukodir Khusanov, a 22-year-old Uzbekistan international centre-back, is set to sign a contract with Manchester City until 2031. Khusanov, who has a contract until 2029, joined City from RC Lens in January 2025 for 40 million euros. He has 30 caps for his country and made 27 Premier League appearances in the 2025/2026 season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €50.00m. Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth have also been linked with the player.
