Reims central defender Abdoul Koné is nearing a move to RB Leipzig after an agreement in principle was reached between the two clubs. The deal is estimated at 21 million euros, including bonuses, and stipulates that Reims will retain a percentage on a future resale and keep the player on loan until the end of the 2025-2026 season. AS Monaco had also pursued the 20-year-old French-Ivorian youth international, who has made 18 appearances in Ligue 2 this season.
