Bailey also stated that Scott is emerging as a top option being considered by United, that they have watched him on numerous occasions since his time at Bristol City, and that they could soon increase their interest. According to Bailey, United see Scott as someone who can dominate the midfield for them in the future. Bailey has told United fans to keep an eye on Scott and added that he is a possibility for several clubs, including United. Manchester United want to sign a midfielder in 2026, and Scott is a player they are monitoring. Scott's price is not yet known. Scott joined Bournemouth in August 2023, has not yet been capped by England, and has a contract until 2028. He has scored one goal in 11 appearances in the current Premier League season, and Transfermarkt lists his market value at €25.00m.
