According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina submitted an official first offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers' striker, Tolu Arokodare, but the proposal was rejected by the English club. Romano also reported that Trabzonspor is interested and has made an offer for the player. However, it is reported that Arokodare is not convinced by the destination and is not currently considering a transfer to Turkey.
Arokodare is a 25-year-old Nigerian striker who joined Wolves in September 2025, has 10 caps for Nigeria, and scored 3 goals in 33 Premier League appearances last season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €20.00m. Reports from July 2026 state that a verbal inquiry of €15 million from Besiktas was rejected by Wolves; this followed reports from April 2026 which suggested Wolves might accept an offer between €15 million and €18 million.
