West Ham United have sent a substantial offer to Viktoria Plzeň for 22-year-old Rafiu Durosinmi. Journalist Pete O'Rourke claimed on his X account that the offer sent by West Ham is for £12 million. The Nigerian striker has attracted interest from other parts of Europe, with reported attention from the Bundesliga, several other Premier League clubs, and Benfica.
Viktoria Plzeň are not required to sell the player and can wait for a better bid. A previous transfer for Durosinmi to Eintracht Frankfurt at the beginning of the prior year was reportedly unsuccessful after a medical check revealed a health problem. Durosinmi, who joined the Czech club in July 2023, is under contract until June 2026 and has a current market value of €7.50m, according to Transfermarkt. In the current Chance Liga season, he has registered three assists and no goals in seven appearances.
