West Ham United, who were relegated to the Championship, are hoping to sign left-back Anass Salah-Eddine from AS Roma on Deadline Day. The club has submitted a loan proposal for the 24-year-old Moroccan international. West Ham are seeking a replacement for El Hadji Malick Diouf, who was sold to Brentford last week.
The potential move to London comes after a previous link last month to Olympiakos. It was reported that Roma had reached an agreement with the Greek club, but Salah-Eddine was said to be uninterested in the transfer. The player's contract in Italy is valid until mid-2028. Salah-Eddine, who joined Roma in February 2025, has 13 caps for Morocco. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. Other clubs, such as Torino, PSV and Real Betis, have also been linked with him.
