West Ham United are attempting to take over Hull City's deal for Stuttgart right-back Josha Vagnoman as the transfer window approaches its deadline. Hull have reached an agreement with Stuttgart for the 25-year-old Germany international; however, they have not yet agreed on personal terms with the player. It has been reported that this has created an opening for West Ham and Nottingham Forest, who are both attempting to intervene before the transfer is completed.
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is seeking defensive reinforcements before Tuesday's 11pm deadline. Vagnoman could have three English options to consider, and both Hull and Forest are able to offer Premier League football. Vagnoman joined Stuttgart in July 2022 and has a contract with the club until 2028. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €10.00m, and in August 2026, reports indicated that VfB Stuttgart's asking price for the player was between €10 million and €15 million.
