Valencia is considering Leicester's 27-year-old Zambian forward Patson Daka as an option to strengthen their attack. The club has contacted the player and Leicester to inquire about his situation in the event that the deal for Umar Sadiq does not proceed. The effort to sign Sadiq is not progressing due to Valencia's negotiating position with Real Sociedad.
Daka, who has a substitute role at the English second division club, has a contract that ends on June 30th. In the current Championship season, he has scored one goal and provided two assists in 21 appearances. As a result, Valencia is working on a permanent transfer for the player. Daka's market value has fallen since Leicester acquired him from Red Bull Salzburg for 30 million euros in 2021; his current market value is €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
