Tomi Horvat, a twelve-time Slovenian international, is nearing a transfer to England. Championship club Bristol City is attempting to sign the 26-year-old from Sturm Graz, with the move planned for the upcoming summer. The two clubs are reportedly already in discussions regarding the midfielder, who had extended his contract with the Graz team in April 2025. A potential transfer fee was not mentioned.
At Bristol City, Horvat would be managed by former Bundesliga coach Gerhard Struber, who was appointed in June of the previous year. The club is currently tenth in the Championship and is near the playoff spots. Horvat joined Sturm Graz in July 2022 and has scored seven goals in two domestic league appearances this season. The midfielder has not yet scored for Slovenia. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €5.00m.
