The first obstacle in Beşiktaş's transfer of Matías Soulé came from Roma. The Italian side kept its expectations high for the player. The black-and-whites' loan plan, for now, did not receive a positive response. Beşiktaş turned its attention to 23-year-old Matias Soule, who plays for Roma, to strengthen the right wing. The black-and-whites, who made their first contacts with the Italian side for the Argentine footballer, want to sign him on loan with a possibility of purchase.

However, Roma management's desire to release the player only for his transfer fee created a significant obstacle in the transfer talks. Roma, which was not receptive to Beşiktaş's loan offer, set a transfer fee of 35 million euros for Matias Soule. It was stated that the Italian representative, aiming to generate income financially, plans to consider only permanent transfer offers. Soulé, who joined Roma in July 2024, is under contract until June 2029 and has also been linked with clubs such as Milan and Fenerbahçe. The winger has yet to be capped by the Argentine national team.
