In recent weeks, Roma rejected a loan request for 19-year-old French centre-forward Robinio Vaz from Fiorentina, as well as from other Serie A clubs including Bologna, Genoa, and Venezia. The club is not looking to loan out the player. Vaz also holds Guinea-Bissau nationality, and his relationship with manager Gasperini has reportedly not flourished.
Roma will only consider a permanent transfer for a suitable fee and will keep Vaz if their valuation is not met. Vaz joined the club in January 2026, and his contract runs until 2030. His current market value is €18m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 season, he scored one goal in 12 Serie A appearances for Roma, after scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists in 16 Ligue 1 games in the first half of the season.
