The Instagram page @galodesde1908 encouraged fans to message Tottenham Hotspur's 29-year-old Brazilian centre-forward Richarlison about joining Atlético-MG, which followed a rumor of the club's interest in the player. In response, Richarlison's teammate Savinho commented, claiming that the forward had told him he wants to play for Vasco. Richarlison's priority, however, is to continue playing international football, despite interest from Brazilian teams and constant inquiries. He has 54 caps and 20 goals for Brazil. It was noted that his current plans would not change even with an approach from Vasco, a club he supports.
After talks with Trabzonspor of Turkey did not progress, the player intends to wait for offers from markets that are still open. His contract with the English team expires next June, which will allow him to sign a pre-contract with another club in December. Richarlison moved to Tottenham from Everton in July 2022 for a €58 million fee. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €25.00m. Tottenham reportedly rejected multiple bids from Trabzonspor in September 2026. These bids included offers up to £20 million (approximately €24 million), while Tottenham's asking price was around €30 million.
