Paris Saint-Germain is one of several clubs pursuing Benfica's Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin. Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also interested, and Real Madrid has recently become another interested club. It is reported that Real Madrid is monitoring the 24-year-old as a potential long-term replacement for Thibaut Courtois, though he is considered one of several candidates.

The Ukrainian international has 29 caps for his country and joined Benfica from Shakhtar Donetsk in August 2023 for a fee that was reported to be €10 million. He is under contract until 2028, and the deal includes a €100 million release clause. His current Transfermarkt market value is €25.00m. Benfica's asking price was reportedly around €40 million in early 2026. Recent reports from mid-2026 state that the club will not negotiate for less than €20 million.
