Honest Ahanor
On Sunday, it was reported that Atalanta have agreed to loan 18-year-old Italian centre-back Honest Ahanor to Crystal Palace. A pre-agreement is also said to be in place for the player to join Chelsea in the summer of 2027 for a £40m fee. Ahanor, who has been capped twice by Italy, joined Atalanta from Genoa in July 2025 for a reported €16m. Earlier in the summer, Brighton reportedly had a bid of around €40m rejected in June 2026.
Fer López
Spanish attacking midfielder Fer Lopez has attracted interest from Crystal Palace and Atalanta following his impressive start to the season with Wolves. According to an update on Sunday from journalist Alan Nixon, Wolves have placed a £40 million valuation on the 22-year-old. Nixon also confirmed that Palace are considering Lopez as a possible replacement for Ismaila Sarr, should Sarr leave.
Quinten Timber
An update on Sunday stated that Quinten Timber has chosen to join Crystal Palace. This followed a report on Wednesday from La Provence, which claimed Timber is now very close to leaving, with Crystal Palace accelerating for his transfer. The move was described as imminent, with the player having a desire to play in England and the fee expected to be around 20 million euros. On Monday, Voetbal International reported that Crystal Palace was one of three clubs with concrete interest in the midfielder, with an asking price of fifteen million euros.
Hugo Larsson
On Sunday, Team Talk reported that Crystal Palace are in talks with Hugo Larsson over a potential move. The player has been in London this week holding talks with the club, and a fee of around £25million is mentioned as potentially enough to convince Eintracht Frankfurt to sell. The report added that Palace have advanced their interest to talks as they look to get ahead of rivals, with the player understood to be ready to move to England. On Friday, it was reported that Larsson was in London for talks with two clubs, one of which is Crystal Palace, with Eintracht Frankfurt asking for a fee of 25 million euros.
Kévin Danois
According to L'Équipe on Sunday, Crystal Palace is interested in Kévin Danois, but the player is not very willing to leave immediately. The report stated that an offer of over €35 million would be needed, and while such a bid is a possibility, it is unlikely at present. On Thursday, it was reported that it will be difficult for Auxerre to retain him if an offer exceeding €35 million is received before the transfer window closes.
Ruben Kluivert
Discussions with Crystal Palace concern Ruben Kluivert, according to L'Equipe on Saturday. The report states that Lyon will not oppose the sale of the defender if there is an offer of 20 million euros. Lyon must pay 15% of any capital gain to Casa Pia, the club that sold Kluivert to them last summer for 3.8 million euros. Kluivert was absent from the squad against Le Havre and could reportedly join London by the end of the weekend if the two clubs reach an agreement.
Neil El Aynaoui
According to Nicolo Schira on Saturday, Crystal Palace are competing to sign Neil El Aynaoui from AS Roma. The proposed deal is a loan with an option to buy for a total of €28M, with a contract until 2031. However, Schira also reported that Lepizig have now moved ahead of Crystal Palace in the effort to sign the player. Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, Tuttomercato reported that several clubs, including Crystal Palace, are interested in El Aynaoui and that Roma is requesting 35 million euros for his departure.
