Danish winger Philip Zinckernagel, who is 31, has reportedly attracted interest from Olympiakos Piraeus following a season with Chicago Fire in the MLS where he recorded 15 goals and 15 assists. Zinckernagel was a finalist for the MLS Newcomer of the Year award. It is also said that Standard and several other MLS clubs are interested in him. According to some sources, a bid of approximately €4 million for Zinckernagel has been rejected. Reports in January 2026 specified that the offer was from Pumas UNAM.
Zinckernagel has two caps for Denmark's U20 team. He joined Chicago Fire in January 2025 from Club Brugge for a reported fee of €850,000. His contract is valid until December 2028. His previous transfers include a move to Club Brugge in 2023 for €2.5 million and a move to Olympiakos in 2022 for €2.0 million.
