Manchester United monitoring Club Brugge fullback Joaquin Seys

The English club has been following the Belgian fullback for several weeks, but a potential transfer is considered unlikely to happen quickly.

Manchester United has been closely following Joaquin Seys for several weeks, and scouts from the English club have watched the Belgian fullback live on multiple occasions. The club is specifically seeking an offensively strong yet defensively reliable fullback. Seys is one of several candidates being considered, alongside others such as Samuel Dahl, Arsène Kouassi, and Maxi Araujo. The twenty-year-old is considered a strong option as he is the youngest on the list and is polyvalent, able to play on both flanks.

A transfer is considered unlikely to happen quickly, because Seys is under contract with Club Brugge until mid-2029 and is expected to play there for at least another season and a half, unless Manchester United is willing to pay a large sum for him. Seys joined Club Brugge in July 2024. According to Transfermarkt, he has a market value of €15.00m. He has also earned 2 caps for the Belgian national team. In the current Jupiler Pro League season, he has contributed one goal and one assist in 17 appearances.
