Leeds United has a strong interest in 23-year-old United States international Yunus Musah. The club, managed by Daniel Farke, aims to assemble an ambitious squad for the upcoming season and has identified the midfielder as a suitable reinforcement. Leeds had intended to watch the player during the World Cup, but his exclusion by coach Mauricio Pochettino could now accelerate the negotiation process.
It is reported that West Ham is also monitoring the player in England. The club tried to sign him last year. Musah has returned to Milan after a loan at Atalanta, and the club intends to let the player leave on a permanent transfer. Musah has 47 caps for the United States and has scored one goal. His contract with the Italian club is valid until 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €14.00m.
