Liverpool have discussed a move for Porto's 20-year-old Brazilian winger, William Gomes, as part of their priority to find competition for Alexander Isak. It is reported that Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson, Newcastle's Nick Woltemade, and Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta are also among the players discussed by the club. Gomes, who has two caps for Brazil U17, joined Porto in January 2025 and is under contract until 2029. His current market value is €25.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Several other clubs, including Atlético Madrid, Manchester United, and Arsenal, have also been linked with the player.
