Newly-promoted English Premier League side Hull City are reportedly interested in Tromsø's Norwegian playmaker Jens Hjertø-Dahl. The 20-year-old is receiving widespread interest, and Cardiff City has made an offer of nearly £8 million. Rangers have also had a long-term admiration for the player and had a £5.4 million offer rejected by the Elitserien side earlier in the month. Hjertø-Dahl has stated he is tempted by the prospect of playing for the Ibrox club.
However, Tromso's transfer chief, Lars Petter Kræmer-Andressen, has maintained that they have not received any new approaches for the midfielder. The Norway U21 international, who has 7 caps, has scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in 14 league appearances this season. His contract with Tromsø is valid until the end of 2029, and the club's asking price was reportedly between £7m and £8.5m in July 2026. Tromsø had rejected a bid worth around €9.4 million from Beşiktaş earlier in the year. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €10.00m.
