Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi has requested the signing of 29-year-old Artem Dovbyk, a player he previously brought to Roma in the summer of 2024. The Ukrainian center-forward has 41 caps and 11 goals for his country. He is reportedly leaving his current club, where his contract runs until 2029. Initial contacts have been made between the parties.
The potential transfer is contingent on the player approving the move and Roma agreeing to a loan deal, as Roma has previously consistently requested more than 20 million euros for a permanent sale. In June 2026, Roma's asking price was reportedly between €20 million and €25 million, and they rejected a €20 million offer from Atletico Madrid. Several other clubs, including Milan and West Ham United, have also been associated with an interest in the striker, whose current market value is €15.00m according to Transfermarkt.
