Genk is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign 23-year-old Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi from Pisa, a club that was relegated in Italy. According to Italian transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, an agreement is being finalized for a transfer fee between 10 and 11 million euros, with potential bonuses also included. The report from Di Marzio also states that Pisa is negotiating a percentage of a future resale. The transfer fee would make Durosinmi the most expensive purchase in Genk's history.
Durosinmi, who has been capped three times for Nigeria, has a contract with Pisa until June 2030. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 12 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €7.00m. Other clubs recently linked with the striker include Trabzonspor, Benfica, and West Ham United.
