Fluminense have signed 19-year-old American midfielder Stiven Jiménez from FC Cincinnati for their Under-20 team. Jiménez also holds Mexican citizenship. It is reported that his contract will run until the end of 2026. The club officially announced that Jiménez arrives on a loan deal until December.
He was the youngest player to debut professionally for Cincinnati in 2023 at 15 years and 362 days old. The midfielder, who has represented the USA at the U20 level, has already integrated into the squad managed by coach Fred. Jiménez stated he was very happy with his decision as soon as he learned of Fluminense's interest, adding that he was welcomed warmly and his goal is to help the team and make his professional debut. His current market value is €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
