Fenerbahçe and city rivals Galatasaray are preparing to make an offer for Napoli's David Neres, a 29-year-old Brazilian winger whom the Italian club considers transferable. Representatives from both Istanbul clubs are expected in Italy in the coming days to discuss several transfers, including one for the Brazilian winger. It is understood that Napoli is willing to consider offers deemed adequate for the player but will not reduce its valuation.
While Cruzeiro has previously attempted to sign him and there has been past interest from Portugal that did not advance, the Turkish approach appears to be the most active and could soon become a formal negotiation. A return to Brazil is not considered a definite possibility for Neres. Neres has 8 caps and 1 goal for Brazil, joined Napoli in August 2024, and has a contract with the club until June 2028. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €23.00m.
