Everton are interested in signing veteran English right-back Kyle Walker, who was relegated with Burnley last season and is currently playing in the Championship. This would be the third time the club has attempted to acquire the 36-year-old, having previously failed to sign him before his move to Burnley 12 months ago and again when he was a teenager and chose to join Tottenham instead. According to The Sun, Everton could be successful with their latest attempt as manager David Moyes looks to add experience and quality to his squad.
The ex-Manchester City player has so far remained with Burnley, for whom he made 35 Premier League starts last season. The defender's contract with Burnley runs until 2027, and he has a current market value of €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt. Walker has been capped 96 times for England, scoring one goal. Sheffield United have also been linked with a move for the player.
