Everton is considering a significant investment to make Ismaïla Sarr, a 28-year-old Senegalese international, one of its major reinforcements, but faces competition from other clubs. AC Milan is also interested, hoping to add his speed and English league experience to its attack, while Villarreal views him as a player who could challenge Spanish defenses and may attempt to sign him if they qualify for European competitions. The winger's performances have been noticed by European scouts.

According to Transfermarkt, Sarr is valued at approximately 35 million euros, although his club, the Eagles, are thought to be contemplating discussions for a fee between 55 and 60 million euros. Sarr, who has 81 caps and 19 goals for Senegal, has scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in 20 Premier League appearances this season. He joined Crystal Palace in August 2024 for a reported €15 million, and his contract expires in June 2029.
