New Milan coach Ruben Amorim does not consider 27-year-old French international Youssouf Fofana to be part of his project and has approved the midfielder's sale for a valuation of 15-20 million. Both Crystal Palace and Everton have expressed interest in the player. Despite Fofana's insistence on staying to convince the new coach, Milan appears determined to sell him and reinvest the funds, and the club's decision seems to have been made.
Fofana, who has 25 caps for France, joined Milan from AS Monaco in August 2024 for a fee that was reported to be €20 million and has a contract until 2028. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 68 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 9 assists. The current asking price is a significant reduction from a €40 million valuation that was mentioned in reports in January 2026.
