Dundee United have agreed to sell 23-year-old Swedish forward Nikolaj Moller to Sandefjord for a fee of approximately £700,000 plus additional add-ons. Dundee United had signed the former Arsenal player on a free transfer from St Gallen in the summer. While United were happy to keep Moller, he was not a first-team regular, having arrived with a minor injury which impacted his fitness. In the current Premiership season, Moller has made 19 appearances, providing two assists and scoring no goals.
Sandefjord funded the transfer after selling their striker Stefan Ingi Sigurdarson to Go Ahead Eagles for approximately £2.5 million. Moller's previous loan spell at Stromsgodset was a factor for the Eliteserien side. The forward has two caps for Sweden's U20 team, had a contract with Dundee United until May 2027, and has a current market value of €450k according to Transfermarkt.
