Rangers' 27-year-old Brazilian centre-forward Danilo has expressed a desire for a summer return to Brazil with Corinthians, stating it would be an honor to play for the club where he was an academy youngster. The forward, who joined Rangers from Feyenoord in a £6m deal in 2023, has two years left on his contract but is not expected to have a future at Ibrox, making a permanent or loan departure possible.
Danilo was on loan at NEC Nijmegen for the latter part of the recent season, but the Dutch club did not exercise their £4 million option to make the move permanent. The former Brazil U23 international has a market value of €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Reports from January 2026 indicated Paphos submitted an offer of €2.3 million for the player.
