Anthony Dennis, whose departure from Göztepe is expected, has been linked with a move to Coventry City. It was reported last week that Coventry were interested in the Nigerian midfielder and made an approach for him. It has also been claimed that an offer from a Premier League side for Dennis was rejected. Göztepe are looking for offers of around €7m for the 22-year-old, and transfer talks with the English club are expected to proceed, with chairman Rasmus Ankersen travelling to the UK to advance a deal.
Reports suggest Coventry City could face competition from Trabzonspor, and it is also said that Trabzonspor are interested. Dennis is contracted until June 2027, and Göztepe intend to sell him this summer. The midfielder joined the Turkish club in July 2023 and made 31 appearances in the Süper Lig last season, scoring three goals. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €8m.
