Northern Ireland international winger Conor McMenamin, 30, has returned to the Irish Premiership by joining Coleraine from St Mirren on a permanent, long-term deal. The transfer occurred despite McMenamin having signed a contract extension in January to remain with the Paisley club until the summer of 2027. After manager Stephen Robinson left for Aberdeen in March, McMenamin's role under interim boss Craig McLeish diminished, and he was restricted to appearances from the bench.
Coleraine manager Ruaidhri Higgins described the move as a very exciting signing for the club, and noted that after speaking with the player, he found him to be a true professional who is desperate for success. McMenamin has 14 caps and one goal for his country. In the 2025/2026 Scottish Premiership season, he made 23 appearances for St. Mirren, scoring one goal and providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €100k.
