FC Cincinnati has an interest in German attacking midfielder Julian Brandt, 29, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund is expiring and will not be extended. The MLS club is reportedly optimistic about convincing Brandt in initial talks.
Previously, there had been less specific rumors linking the player to FC Arsenal, Fenerbahce, and AS Rom, while Brandt has not ruled out a transfer within the Bundesliga. Brandt, who joined Dortmund in July 2019, has a current market value of €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The German international has 48 caps and has scored 3 goals for his country. This season, he has scored 3 goals in 7 Bundesliga appearances.
