Irish Premiership side Glentoran have confirmed that midfielder Cameron Palmer will join Scottish Championship team Livingston when his contract expires at the end of the month. Palmer, who is 26 years old, holds both Northern Ireland and Scotland nationality. The move follows a season in which he was voted Glentoran's Player of the Year and named in the Northern Ireland Football Writers' Association Premiership Team of the Year. Palmer joined Glentoran in July 2023.

He stated that the opportunity to move to Scotland, test himself in a new environment, and be closer to his family made it the correct choice for his career at this time. Palmer added that leaving Glentoran was not easy, as he had genuinely enjoyed his time at the club. The former Northern Ireland U21 international has 10 caps. His current market value is €250k, according to Transfermarkt.
