AFC Bournemouth is a potential destination for SC Freiburg's German and Nigerian goalkeeper Noah Atubolu, but it is reported that the 24-year-old is not very interested in the move. Bournemouth would like to sign the player immediately, while Aston Villa is also monitoring the situation.
Freiburg is prepared for Atubolu's departure and is seeking a fee of at least €20 million for the player, who joined the club in July 2021 and has one year remaining on his contract. It is also said that other potential destinations like Hull City and Real Sociedad San Sebastián hold little appeal for Atubolu, whose current market value is €25 million, according to Transfermarkt. Reports from earlier in 2026 mentioned asking prices for the goalkeeper ranging from €20 million to as high as €30 million in February.
