A summer transfer for Lech Poznań's 21-year-old Polish midfielder Antoni Kozubal appears increasingly likely, and he has reportedly been given permission to leave. He was previously linked with clubs including Lille and Celtic. Mateusz Borek revealed that Borussia Dortmund has shown interest in the player. Borek stated that two separate sources had pointed him towards Dortmund regarding Kozubal, and he found this surprising due to the club's stature.
He also noted that the personnel who make transfer decisions at Dortmund have recently changed, making it uncertain if the interest in the player will be actively pursued. The significant interest in Kozubal could potentially lead to a bidding war between clubs. Kozubal joined Lech Poznan in January 2021, has a contract until 2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €5.00m. He has also earned 17 caps and scored 4 goals for the Poland U21 national team.
