Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich express interest in Rayan

German rivals have reportedly made initial contact regarding a potential transfer for the Vasco da Gama forward.

German rivals Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have expressed interest in Rayan and have made initial contact to seek a deal. Rayan is a 19-year-old Brazilian who was a notable player in the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro. It is reported that Bayern has been monitoring the forward for several months. The player's club, Vasco, does not intend to facilitate an easy potential transfer. Rayan's release clause is set at 80 million euros, but Vasco would be open to a sale for approximately 50 million euros.

Zenit had previously made progress in negotiations, but these have slowed because Rayan was not interested in playing in Russia, prioritizing a more prominent league. It is also reported that Crystal Palace, Porto, and Lazio are interested. These clubs are considered less likely to secure the player. The player is not urgently seeking to leave and has recently renewed his contract until 2028. Rayan has 11 caps and 2 goals for the Brazil U20 team, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €25.00m. It is reported that Vasco rejected a €31 million offer from Zenit in December 2025 and a €25 million bid from Porto in September 2025.
