Beşiktaş targets Daichi Kamada as Rafa Silva replacement

The club has begun transfer efforts for the Crystal Palace midfielder whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Beşiktaş plans to target Daichi Kamada of Crystal Palace to replace Rafa Silva. It is reported that Silva, who will be leaving the club, has had adjustment issues and performed below expectations. The club has begun transfer efforts for Kamada, a 29-year-old Japanese attacking midfielder whose contract with the Premier League side expires at the end of the season. Kamada joined Crystal Palace in July 2024 and has 47 caps and 12 goals for Japan.

Beşiktaş intends to sign Kamada for a suitable transfer fee, and the manageable cost of the deal has made him a top priority. General coordinator Serkan Recber proposed the player, and it was learned that head coach Sergen Yalçın provided a positive report. The management intends to intensify contact with Kamada and his club to complete the transfer soon. Kamada, who has provided two assists in 14 league matches this season, has a current market value listed as 12 million Euro.
