Viktor Goncharenko, the head coach of the Belarus national team, stated that Matvey Kislyak, a 20-year-old Russian central midfielder for CSKA Moskva, could transfer to a club at the level of Arsenal or Paris Saint Germain. According to Goncharenko, Kislyak and Lokomotiv's Alexey Batrakov have the right age and qualities for such a move and should aspire to play in the Champions League and compete for titles.

Kislyak's contract with CSKA Moscow, which he joined in January 2024, is valid until June 2029. He has earned 9 caps and scored one goal for Russia. There have been links connecting him with moves to Flamengo and Palmeiras. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €20.00m. Reports from May 2026 indicate the player's agent stated that a transfer fee will exceed €15 million. It was also reported that in the summer of 2025, CSKA rejected a €12 million offer from Fenerbahçe.
