Bayern Munich is among the interested parties for 28-year-old Rúben Neves if the midfielder does not extend his contract with Al Hilal, which expires in the summer. The Munich club, along with Manchester United, Atlético Madrid, and Juventus Turin, is said to have already held informal talks with the Portuguese international's representatives. Al Hilal has made Neves an offer described as irresistible to extend his contract until 2028 with a significant pay rise. While it is suggested that Neves is inclined to accept this offer, which might include an informal agreement for a 2027 departure, he has not yet made a decision.
It was recently reported by 'The Times' that the player is aiming for a return to the Premier League, with a potential transfer fee of around 20 million euros being mentioned. Neves was also apparently offered to Real Madrid, but the club reportedly declined. The Portugal international has 63 caps and has registered 4 goals in 10 domestic league appearances this season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €25.00m, following his transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Al-Hilal in July 2023 for a reported €55 million.
