Atlanta United has submitted a formal offer to West Ham for 31-year-old midfielder Guido Rodríguez, whose potential destination could now be in the United States after economic differences arose during negotiations with Valencia. The interest from the MLS club is reportedly driven by incoming manager Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino.
According to Tom Bogert, Atlanta United is interested in the former Argentine international and has begun initial discussions to determine if a move is possible. Rodríguez is a World Cup winner who has struggled for playing time with the English club, having made 6 appearances in the Premier League during the 2025/2026 season. His contract expires on June 30, 2026, and he joined West Ham on a free transfer in August 2024. His current Transfermarkt market value is €6.00m. In January 2026, reports suggested a potential transfer would cost no more than €10 million.
