Several clubs have shown interest in Rennes forward Breel Embolo, 29, who was signed from Monaco last year. These clubs include Atlanta United from Major League Soccer, newly promoted Premier League sides Hull and Ipswich, and several teams in Serie A.
To sell the Swiss international, who has three years left on his contract, the French club is asking for 15 million euros, an amount equivalent to his purchase price, including bonuses, from the previous year. Embolo has 92 caps and 26 goals for Switzerland.
