TEAMtalk reports that Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are tracking Strasbourg winger Gessime Yassine, and that Chelsea has long-term plans to bring the 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea is monitoring the progress of Gessime Yassine and is seriously considering signing him. The Chelsea board has not yet decided on the timing of a potential transfer, which could happen in summer 2027 or be postponed to 2028. TEAMtalk also reports that Gessime Yassine is enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Chelsea. The transfer is facilitated by the relationship between Chelsea and Strasbourg within the BlueCo group, which could make discussions easier; however, no agreement has been announced. His market value is currently estimated at 20 million euros, giving Strasbourg a favorable negotiating position. Strasbourg has no obligation to hasten a potential departure and may choose to keep Yassine to aid his development and increase his value.

Gessime Yassine is comfortable knowing his future is at Chelsea, and it is understood he is happy with the prospect of eventually moving to west London. Chelsea and their BlueCo ownership group have a clear plan for Yassine, who they see as an option for the future, although it remains unclear whether they would prefer to bring him to Stamford Bridge in 2027 or wait until a later stage. It is understood the club is very impressed by what they have seen from Yassine, with the wider BlueCo structure allowing them to track his development closely at Strasbourg before determining the right moment for him to move to the next stage. Chelsea and BlueCo have been encouraged by his progress and are understood to view him as a player they want to bring into their plans in the near future.

Chelsea are reportedly close to signing Gessime Yassine from RC Strasbourg. According to former Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon, talks have reportedly progressed considerably, and he suggested that the 20-year-old player was nearing a move to the London club. Yassine's attacking qualities have apparently impressed Chelsea’s decision-makers, and the club intends to continue its policy of recruiting young talents with high potential. However, the matter has not yet been officially confirmed. Gessime Yassine is under contract with Strasbourg until 2030 and is valued at €20 million by Transfermarkt. If the transfer were to happen, it would be part of the existing links between the two clubs within the BlueCo group.
