Atalanta wants to sign Noa Lang. Transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Atalanta has proposed a loan for the 27-year-old Dutch left winger. However, his current club Napoli is unwilling to agree to a temporary move because they are looking to sell him, and have so far rejected Atalanta's request.

A permanent departure for Lang from Napoli is expected this summer, following his return from a loan spell at Galatasaray, which chose not to make the transfer permanent with a purchase option reportedly valued at €30 million. It is unclear if Lang would be open to a domestic move within Italy, especially as Ajax is also interested. Lang is eager to return to Ajax and has already had a conversation with the club. An official move from the Amsterdam club is conditional on them first selling Mika Godts, for whom Paris Saint-Germain is a potential destination. Lang, who has 17 caps and 3 goals for the Netherlands, joined Napoli in July 2025 and his contract runs until 2030. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 18 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Napoli reportedly set a price of €25 million for the player in August 2026, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €22.00m.
