Anderlecht is among several clubs interested in Göztepe's 22-year-old Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis, who is expected to decide on his future in the coming days. Dennis, who joined his current club in July 2023, is under contract until 2027 and has been given permission to leave this summer. Göztepe is open to negotiations and values the player at around €8 million; reports in June 2026 indicated an asking price of around €7 million, while in March 2026 it was reported to be €10 million. During the 2025/2026 season, Dennis made 63 appearances in the Süper Lig, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.
The Belgian side faces considerable competition, as Coventry City was initially considered the leading candidate to sign him following positive talks. In Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig have become prominent clubs interested in the player, with Union Berlin and Mainz also monitoring the player. Villarreal CF from Spain has inquired about his situation, while in Turkey, Beşiktaş and Galatasaray have made direct approaches to Göztepe.
