According to sources close to Zaidu Sanusi, Saudi club Al Quadisiya is interested in the player. Sanusi is a 29-year-old left-back who is in the final year of his contract with FC Porto. It is reported that discussions for a potential two-year extension have stalled because of the Nigerian's salary demands.
In recent hours, Al Qadisiya's executives have held talks with the FC Porto board, and the board is open to a possible departure this summer. The Portuguese club is asking for a transfer fee of 10 million euros. The site Transfermarkt lists Sanusi's market value at 3 million euros. The Nigerian international has been capped 32 times and joined Porto in August 2020. There had been previous reports that Atalanta Bergamo and Leeds United were interested in the player.
