Al Ittihad has targeted Ritsu Doan, a 28-year-old Japanese international. According to reports, the Saudi club is considering the winger as a potential replacement for Moussa Diaby. Diaby's return to Bayer Leverkusen has been delayed for weeks, partly because a successor has not been found.
Doan is under contract with Frankfurt until 2030 and was a regular starter last season, recording 13 goal contributions in 40 appearances. Eintracht had signed the left-footed player from Freiburg one year prior for 21 million euros. Doan has 69 caps and 11 goals for Japan. His current market value is €17.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
